Clinical Stem 1
Non-smoking female with a new right upper lobe lung mass and three PET-positive mediastinal lymph nodes

The Case Continues
Papanicolau stains were positive for malignancy, most likely adenocarcinoma. Both endobronchial biopsy and EBUS-TBNA specimens were analyzed by the cytopathologist and considered adequate for molecular analysis. Adenocarcinoma was confirmed using immunohistochemistry. TTF1 was positive and P63 was negative. Given the patient's history of primary lung malignancy and no clinical suspicion for extrathoracic malignancy metastatic to the lung, specimens were not processed for further Immunohistochemistry.
